      Pros

CCI offers a great opportunity to have real impact, develop technical and non-technical skills, and learn about many different financial and energy domains.

      Cons

A medium -sized firm with entrepreneurial culture might not be best for those looking for large corporate training programs.

      Pros

      • Flat atmosphere with exposure across different functions and to senior leadership. • Really interesting diversity of work projects and responsibilities. • Not somewhere you are handheld, but a place where you feel empowered to have a voice. • Hard work not only rewarded in merit based compensation but with then new exposure to interesting challenges.

      Cons

      • There are high expectations in most functions

      Great Place to Work

      Pros

Really great place to join if you're new to the commodities/energy markets industry. People here are extremely helpful and everyone wants you to succeed. The development opportunities are great, and the environment is fast paced and challenging. CCI is a smaller firm, therefore the work you perform is very visible, and it's recognized when you're doing a good job.

      Cons

The pace can difficult to adjust to if you're not from the industry as it takes some time getting used to.

      Pros

The office is located in a nice part of London.

      Cons

Absolutely awful company to work for. The contract I had was for 40 hours a week but as soon as you join you are told you do evening shifts as well. None of which are paid for which along with the rota for weekend shifts can increase the hours by as much as 10-15 hours per week. Training here is poor and as a result they have a huge turnover of staff. There is also a huge level of beurocracy too with huge walls between senior management. If you are thinking of working for them do a U turn.

      Pros

Excess unrealistic hours, low starting pay with zero raises, next to no chance for career progression, no insight or feedback from mgmt, yearly layoffs with no one ever replaced.
