The company spends money on hardware and software that we need and there's not too much interference. There's a fairly relaxed schedule and day-to-day it's pretty chill. Teams seem to vary quite a bit in workload and quality.
Cons
It's a big company. Doing anything takes a long time. Many teams that are required to do your job... just don't do theirs. With no recourse. That leads to an environment where there's a lot of egos and political nonsense. Every email feels like it has 400 recipients too many, and it only takes one disagreement to derail anything if you aren't a VP. Frustrating if you're ambitious, but it's a great place to get a paycheck in the meantime.
