Pros
There are no real pros to working for this company.
Cons
The company is stuck in the 80s where all their processes are outdated and inefficient. The training is in dire need of revamping as it is evident that there is a lack of knowledgable staff. There is high turnover as there is poor employee morale and low compensation coupled with high work hours. The benefits are not competitive compared to other industries. This company is a stepping stone. The communication is terrible from top to bottom. Management has openly stated that you are dispensable.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Chartwell Retirement Residences full-time
Pros
Friendly co-workers, relatively high amount of corporate events/morale-boosters. Fairly modern office facilities and building.
Cons
Poor executive leadership team. Attitude towards non-executive employees was unfriendly and cold. Insanely high turnover, mainly due to hiring people for demand, and then dumping them as demand subsides. I suspect this is because the company is publicly traded, so their financials can be boosted at the right time.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Chartwell Retirement Residences full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Good benefits package (you will need them working here) Average pay. Residents amazing
Cons
Hmm where to start. Cutthroat, 5 star expectation, 3 star budget, 1 star support. If you manage to meet your goals, you are rewarded with higher goals but no incentive. 24\7 oncall expectation. Training consists of heres a binder figure it out. Extremely high turnover at all levels. Had three bosses in 4 years. Mulpitle senior management to report to with conflicting expectations. Unionized environment 1 manager to 25 employees, no supervisor. I could go on for days but this should suffice.

"Low pay, no appreciation or recognition for hard work, bad management, need I continue?"

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Chartwell Retirement Residences full-time for more than a year
Pros
There aren't many. I learned a lot though. I enjoyed some of my coworkers and the residents, but that had nothing to do with the company itself.
Cons
Low pay, no appreciation or recognition for hard work, bad management, high turnover, high tolerance for unsafe and irresponsible care of residents (the things I saw were ridiculous). I frequently informed management of employees that were not fit for resident care (neglect, complete lack of nursing knowledge etc) and nothing was done.
