- Professional work environment - You learn from and work with the very best analysts in the industry - Your name is published on reports giving you solid visibility - Very high quality of work
Cons
- Indian managers are there just to hand hold and do admin (like approve leave etc). But they still have final say in budgets and employee welfare. They just want to save their jobs and keep stakeholders in NY happy. - Very poor employee benefit (no relocation benefits, not even flight fare; fixed salary is stuck for past two years at same level despite performing well and will not move unless there’s a revision of pay ladder or if I’m promoted). - Absolutely zero engagement between teams. - Bureaucratic process of getting approvals for hiring or anything. - Budgeted visits to on site never happen, citing budget constraints (doesn’t even make sense that if you’ve budgeted something at the start of the year, how’re you having budget constraints?) - Far too many presentations and meetings locally held by the Indian managers which NY stakeholders aren’t made aware of, eating into our productivity.

Pros
Wonderful place to start for a fresher alot to learn. Excellent training and work environment. Good growth and pay as well :)
Cons
The shift timings may not be manageable by all since citi as a bank works 24/7, and also the recent news of citibank stoping their consumer banking is a little worrying for current employees.
