Pros
There is nothing good to mention except its large investment bank where New York team must have done good work to take to such level but India management is ruining now. Stay away from Citi if you dont want to waste away your time and careers..
Cons
No Work Life balance (Reporting 9 am is a must but no leaving time and discourage to even leave after 8 pm) Personal Favoritism by Management team No transparency in appraisal and performance Bureaucratic Management Anti Employee policy on Holidays & Leave Plans (always postpone leave plans and at the end says no one can take leaves together) Even floating holidays are fixed means it acts like non floating holiday Work from home policy is there but no manager allows to take it Management is fully biased and promote people whom they want to without considering other offsite management Fraud even in hiring people where HR team just hires from their agency to get personal commissions. Even if referral works because of escalation then team manager considers resumes referred by their team members to please them by referral bonus. So in a nutshell its all unethical practices. Most un-ethical company i have ever worked on in terms of Performance appraisal and promotions. Managers behavior is too bad as if they are frightening people.

Pros
1.) Great infra to work , with all facilities. 2.) Few supportive peers with sound knowledge 3.) Good leave policy.
Cons
1.) NO WORK LIFE BALANCE ( I REPEAT NO WORK LIFE BALENCE) 2) Production Change lifecycle process is too tiresome and tedious process which makes change coordinators frustrated. 3) People who are AVP ( Assistant Vice President) are the one who will be working in the same project for more than 5-10 years wont share proper details and try to make people fool around in the team , so as to showcase them as problem solvers. 4.) You often wont get work on your core technology which you have been selected , they always expect you to work on some project related monitoring tools or reporting tools which they don't provide proper knowledge transfer or documents , and expect you complete the work on strict timeline. 5.) There wont be any appreciation from team management even though you delivered a lot of efforts. 6.) Most of the people who worked in service based companies become permanent with citi and deliver the same type mediocre support and involves in middle management politics. 7.) Due to micro management the harmony between teammates/peers is being disturbed and prevails the toxic environment. 8.) During Pandemic period the work life balance has been worsen due to conservations in work in CITI. Also, there is no proper HR team support in any regard. Finally, My request to CEO or Proper Heads of India and Singapore CITI workers, please survey with employees at a proper level since pandemic things have been worsen a lot with CITI CORP. If you don't believe in my words check your attrition rate especially CITI India.
