I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary was ok, freedom of schedule.

    Cons

    Unrealistic sales goals, no support.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the people more. I had 4 Market managers in the 2 years I was there. And then was blamed for not meeting expectations when I had zero consistent message other than make your goals!

I worked at Citizens Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Hours are decent, flexible schedule when needed.

    Cons

Base pay for what was required, had 2 separate sales goals that did not correlate to one another, commissions were cut down because of other staff customer service scores even when my were 100%.

    Advice to Management

If you expect your employees to do something, less by example. You want us to make cold calls?- maybe you should too instead of sitting in your office for 2 hours chatting with your friends...

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time

    Pros

PTO, as long as it doesn’t conflict with manager’s convenience

    Cons

Unrealistic sales goals, weekend hours, incentive program constantly changed to lower payout rates, incompetent management, no room to move up if you are in retail, branches falling apart, turnover, only concern for customers if there is a sale involved, back office is becoming more and more incompetent. Clearly gutting the company so P&L looks great—more bonuses for the big...

I have been working at Citizens Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay is good (especially for being right out of college), hours, benefits are pretty good, most of the colleges are nice and approachable, give a good amount of training. Have them pay for your series 6, 63, and life/health exam

    Cons

Sales pressure is overly apparent, nearly every day someone gives you pressure on your sales goals even though in the interview with the regional manager, she stated that they weren't that bad. They are more about sales than building relationships with people which make you, on occasion, come off as a snake oil salesman. Nothing you do is good enough for your branch manager...

I worked at Citizens Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I enjoyed the employees I worked with

    Cons

The sales goals are impossible to reach and even if you do manage to reach them, the payout isn't worth how much work you put in. Company does not value its employees
