I have been working at Citrix full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Very good Learning curve, open code, research opportunities
    - Pay & Perks - far superior in the industry
    - Awesome facilities - be it Cabs, Food and Work space
    - Constant push to innovate

    Cons

When u think about Citrix, it has two independent groups, XenApp/XenDesktop (XA/XD) and Netscaler. This review is all about XA/XD.

    - Frequent changes in leadership, too many ideas of re-org, lack of constant focus.
    - It was all good 2-3 years back but now its a bit shaken, more senior resources are to exit.
    - Constant threat of being fired despite of performance

    I worked at Citrix full-time

    Pros

Good pay and you can earn more than your CTC if you are ready for working extra
    Food and cabs

    Cons

No flexibility of leaves/breaks/public holidays - if u are a support guy unfortunately
Local Management only promotes people pleasers and not technically competitive folks
Good/extra opportunities obviously are bagged only by a specific group of people
Management does not value lateral/experienced employees

    Advice to Management

Management should talk something beyond "gain visibility" as career growth focus point
