    Pros

Columbia Bank has great hours, great benefits, offers a substantial opportunity of growth and development within the company and is widely involved in the community. The working environment is charged with positivity and hope for the up and coming staff of this establishment.

    Cons

Needs more Uniformity between the branches and the regions. The back office team needs to be more willing to assist and help employees in the offices with more avidity.

    Pros

Great benefits for full time employees Hours are very easy to get used too Environment is very relax Everyone has a voice

    Cons

None evident, the company itself is full or pros. The only minor con would be the con that every job environment has the occasional lazy boss or co worker who does the minimum

    Pros

Some managers actually cared about job.

    Cons

Too many to think of. Structure sucked. Management sucked. Environment at the Corporate HQ was not work friendly. Everyone hated each other and no one wanted to work. Management threw work on the employees under them.

    Pros

The customers and co-workers were great. Never ran into any trouble and they work with your class schedules

    Cons

The business is a little behind modern times in the way they process items and the culture, however it is not terrible but they do need to update.

    Pros

Working at Columbia is a great experience the guests, workers everyone is warm and friendly and benefits are good and pay as well.

    Cons

Moving up is hard and instead of filling positions when people leave they'll cut it instead of giving someone else the opportunity.

    No room to grow

    Pros

Nice staff and upper management is easy to talk to. I really enjoyed their Human Resource Department because of their open door policy.

    Cons

There is absolutely no room to move up within the company. No one leaves unless they retire so there aren’t a lot of good positions available. I did not receive enough support from my manager and felt like opportunities were taken away from me because my manager felt threatened that I would take their position.

The "Weight" is Over at Columbia Bank

    Pros

Overall, truly the best company to manage work and life. They are all for having a life out side of the business. This is the only good thing I can say about this company. Years ago, if you worked in the financial arena, you were blessed to work at Columbia Bank. Other bank professionals would take pay cuts to work here. Their values and dedication to their employees (and customers) was Number 1! That all changed. Under the banks new leadership, they have nose-dived. Ask any of the current employees there. From tellers to Senior VPs. Most do not want to be here anymore or share the same joy once felt when going to work each day. A serious forewarning to any potential applicants.

    Cons

The organization rolled out a new "get healthy" initiative a few years back. A company executive was quoted as saying, "We need a better looking front line" and "We need better looking employees" The "get healthy" campaign is really hiding the evil purpose that harbors underneath. Leadership starts from the top. Executive Management should look at themselves before judging their 500+ employees on the way they look rather than the dedication they bring to the position. Other cons include leadership and career training programs like invitations to Stonier are only for the best looking candidates, not the best qualified. Do a self audit on the individuals within those programs - the truth hurts. Also examine those recently hired over the past year. It's sad but true. The Board of Directors should be ashamed of themselves.

    Pros

Great atmosphere people, and experience. They really tried to help me grow. Pay was also pretty substantial as a high school student. The hours were flexible. Amazing company over all.

    Cons

    No cons come to mind.
