One of the only pro thing you may say about CGS and it's projects is about your comrades in arms, the ones that die with you don't let you wonder how can the upper management team can take such bad decisions. Good place to start, especially if you are good on what you are doing. If you survive anyone will hire you since they already know the hell you've been through.

Very, very, very poor management. No retention policies, you are just a number and nothing more. No trainings offered to support your growth in the company. what you can scavenge from here and there is the only thing you will receive. Even if you make a request for a training, or for anything in particular, you usually remain only with a promise that it will be done, same thing will happen even after 1 year when you remind them of your requests, that would help you improve. Personal growth if you are not friends with someone from the management team, or just unlucky you may stay in the same spot for as long as you work there. But as fast as people leave and new ones are hired, you get the chance to be called Senior, when you only have 2-3 months in the company anyway.

Pros

Good place to start a career and get an idea of what a big company is. Great environment, young, fun people. The activity is very procedural - well organized and it's little responsibility on your shoulders. They promote from within, they don't bring outside people. Full-time / part-time options. The schedule is as flexible as the team is. I changed shifts lots of times, they don't care who is at work as long as the staffing needs are met. Decent advancement opportunities. You get paid on time and the right amount. Big bonuses on the demanding projects. Those that have 2or3 bonuses are usually the stress-free projects. Various prize contests from time-to-time Soliciting work, but it trains you for bigger challenges (I found my new co-workers had a totally different idea of what a "hard task" or "high workload" are, made me laugh)

Working in shifts. You get your vacation / time off when the staffing allows, or if you ask for it 6 months in advance. Tough luck taking a summer vacation on a short notice. Average salary.

Easy to advance in this company but the pay doesn't match the amount of work you do. The higher you climb the less you get paid based on hours. All management is salaried where you get no more for working overtime but they doc your pay if you don't have 40 hours.

Plenty of Training and overtime opportunity from time to time. Great place to start if your prior knowledge is EQUAL to "NONE".

While working there "PAY FREEZE FOR 3 YEARS". Not a single person got a raise. Then the company meeting with Phil Friedman we had to sit there and listen to a man who was more than willing to pay very low to the employees with very bad compensation package and insurance that cost high(that majority of employee couldn't afford at less than 11$ an hour rate). Also, had the face to compare his company with other companies as to how the pay was. Instead of actually paying a decent amount for families to be able to live with. Everyone in the room was 11$ hour or less besides the CEO and his 2 security guards. Extreme High Call Volume. Expect to be cross trained in plenty accounts. Expect your schedule to change every 3 months or less. Shift bids occur and Seniority takes the good ones. Call Quality every week, if you perform at 85% or lower expect your shoulder to be tapped while on the call and told to go on meeting after the call to go to a private room to talk about "YOUR BAD PERFORMANCE". Master Tech program only existed for those who already had it prior. Not for new employees. Expect to be told that your calls should last 15 minute or less. Anything longer than 15 minute you either get sent a message on the chat or they are behind you asking you whats going on.

Good place to start and get to know the industry. they always had some good challenging opportunities with the edge of new technologies and it was always fun learning things and staff was helpful
