I worked at Comviva Technology full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Till now, there is no issue in providing flexibility in office timing. Can work from home and this is one of the ways you can say it's great .
    2. Lots of learning opportunities by your own.
    3. HR policies seems good for women employees as well.
    4. Fresher compensation is much better than other companies.
    5. Anyone can be able to suggest some improvement plan hence this kind of freedom is good to have.

    Cons

    1. No enforcement or support to project management while this organisation runs on product implementation mostly. No power has been given to PMs.
    2. Tenure bonus (TAB) is deducted when you leave the company and believe me it's huge amount if you don't leave in Jan or June.
    3. There is no visionary leader .
    4. People are afraid of speaking truth and leaders aren't capable of giving comfort to employees to speak fearlessly .
    5. Lots of known problems are there but unit heads or higher management just keep watching those.
    6. Lower level employees remain in stress for meeting various constraints while bottlenecks are well known.
    7. Bad arrangements while travelling on site. Cheapest airline is booked and an employee needs to struggle with hotel desk for a better hotel booking.
    8. Per diem which is paid during on site travel is not revised and not par if compared to other good companies.
    9. Compensation and appraisals are always delayed till July ...aug
    10. Appreciations are badly missing from higher management. Seems they hesitate to write mails too while appreciating their own employees.

    Cons

1.As you grows older with the company pressure grows too.
2.Resource is always there in projects, which causes a disbalance for the employees working with the project.

I worked at Comviva Technology full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    1) You can learn new technologies only when yur in development.
    2) best company architect who will guide you to the right way even it's against management
    3) People help each other very much.
    4) people from different team appreciate your work that make something really happy..
    5) few technically strong development leads and managers are present.(At crtical times managers and leads have sat along with the employees and fixed the bugs and provide solution
    6) They have the best products in the market.

    Cons

Below are the points not based on single incident..

    1) Bad pay hierarchy (TAB is one big loss)they show Yu big number but actually Yu get half of it in hand.. every month there will be a some or the other deduction
    2) There few worthless managers and leads, few are baised leads are not worried Abt quality they worried abt answering to development heads
    3) No technical manager or lead in a testing team which is main reason people are suffering all the days in a week Even the fresher's are screwed
    4) they are simply stupid process orientated leads rather quality
    5) you will not get the recognition even though Yu meet your KRA do different things bring change.. the recognition will be given to those who pretend to work but not really work (Boot L***ers) (Especially in quality team) and most important guys who waste entire day in useless meetings and stay over night n say we did a great job.
    6) Not a place for fresher to start... Yu get really roasted physically, mentally, and most important financially...
    7) Non professional test leads... They don't care if yur dieing or sick if they need an info they will call u in midnight/weekends.. even though the info is already present in there mailbox..to lazy to find
    8) They say not everyday is critical but I hardly see people relaxed and working..
    9) few high level.manager will ask u for the RCA for silliest report at critical times don't know what there deal...

    Advice to Management

Management should also think in the engineer prespective when commiting a timlines and deals( as in.. challenges faced in sites and in engineering team) Not every day is happy day.

Management should also look into removing the variable pay and make it fixed.. at least respect people's time and commitment if not recognizing them.
