    Pros

If you work in the old CCX yards (northern US) the pay is real good, they get overtime after 8 hours and make more per hour than the southern states. I'm told the way you are treated by management is very good up there. That's not the case in Fort Worth Texas.

    Cons

Con-ways management 8 years ago made a lot of changes that resulted in big wastes of money. It still hasn't recovered. They've taken most all of the good perks for working here away from the employees and still say we don't do enough. Accidents injuries or illness are all considered preventable by the company. You got to be ready to fight to prove your innocence. Oh, and you still 1 of the lowest paid freight company employers. Office workers are being outsourced overseas now. American company hahahahaha! Good luck with customer service!

    Pros

Pays well with a continual emphases on safely.

    Cons

"Flex board"; to call an employee into work to cover a company need. You sleep with your phone never knowing when you will be called in (may be 3am Sunday). When you get a start time it will be on the dock for as long as a year.

    Pros

Do your job and they leave you to it. Need help, they'll give it to you.

    Cons

1st year health insurance is horrible. Just a step above catastrophic. 5 years to reach full wages.
