      Pros

Good pay and benefits, vacation/personal days, good equipment, working with good people

      Cons

Newer employees dont understand they have to put in their time to get better runs or newest equipment, Winter on docks, sometimes real hard to get time off, sometimes weeks way too many hours, some places get too little hours

      Pros

Pay is good Job security is pretty good Military friendly Great benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401k. Focus on safety in the work place.

      Cons

Long hours Poor shifts This company has little to no reward for the hard work you put in. And by reward, I mean the attitude towards employees. Management is not encouraging…they do not provide a team atmosphere like they make you think. Instead they create a consequence environment where it's about how bad you did, not how good you did some things and could improve on others. Ability to advance is limited for drivers and management. If you're management, you must be willing to relocate. I was also lied to when I was hired about the shifts I'd work and the pay raises I'd receive

      A great place to work!

      Pros

The pay is good, the co workers are very friendly and are willing to help new recruits with anything, and the equipment is top notch!

      Cons

The only thing that is bad is that if you are a new driver, you will be on the bottom of the seniority list for years. Which means, you will not have a schedule and you might work the dock, do pick up and deliveries, linehaul, or hostle (moving trailers in the yard). You never know what your going to do... for years!!! You will be on extra board.

      Pros

Really good people to work with. Good pay. Good experience. Paid travel, hotel, and meals.

      Cons

Schedule is awful. One week you work 8pm till 6am, the next week you might work 3am till 1pm. Each week is different. Also each week you're in a different location. Problem is you usually do not know that location until thursday or even friday. Hard on any and all relationships. Pretty much makes having a life impossible until you are placed somewhere, after the program ends!

      Pros

A very stable, well managed company with good benefits and opportunities to advance if you are willing to move to other parts of the system. Pay is good but some competitors pay better.

      Cons

Sales support is lacking in some areas. CSR's are not properly trained to provide consistent customer service or sales support.

      Pros

Continuous improvement in many areas. Good pay for our area and skill level required. Nicer trucks than other companies.

      Cons

Long working hours for night shifts, not as bad for daytime workers.

      Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, excellent training.

      Cons

Unprofessional management, lots of favoritism, very corporate feel, employees are not seen as people, we are all just a number and are easily replaced no matter how hard we've worked for no matter how many years. Cannot trust management, and when push comes to shove no one has your back. Its every man for himself at this company.

      Pros

Good Pay, good benefits, stable company, They offered opportunities for advancement and a good relocation package, excellent employee training and always looking for ways to improve the company

      Cons

Started out as Con-way and really valued people who helped them grow and expand than something changed around 2012 and upper management started alienating the tenured employees who were there at the start

      Pros

Home every day, good coworkers, pay is good. If your at a big terminal you get the newer trucks before the smaller trucks. Benefits are ok.

      Cons

Terminal managers and supervisors are worried about numbers so they try to push you hard. Alot of the managers have never been behind well of a truck and they try to tell you how to drive. Now they have drivecams, and I was a coach for that crap, and because of that coworkers treated me different. Also if a night line haul driver is late because of another terminal then the rookie managers harp at the pd drivers all day, even when they get back.
