Good contacts Communication skills development Diplomacy Good brand to add in your CV Sometimes you really feel proud being in CII when you talk to people of other organizations People outside CII take you very seriously due to the exposure you will get here
Cons
Very strict on rules (which were established like 100 years ago, time to revisit the logics behind some rules) Selective promotions, Favoritism Perception based growth rather than work and value addition based Low salary for the work as well as for the industrial standard There are like 30-40% employees who do not deserve to work in such prestigious organization (these rotten apples are to be avoided at any cost, they don't work but get credit and salary equivalent to people who WORK; PS they are mostly skill less relatives of "Important People"

Pros
Even if you don't work, you wont be laid off, if you know buttering
Cons
They cheat funding agency by inflating manhours spent on projects Senior management will travel from project budget meant for other work. No guidance No expertise in any work, just regurgigating what industry ceo speaks No fixed structure on salary. Anyone can get anything and people who speak honestly are not liked

Pros
Opportunity to interact with top CEO’s and business leaders Salary on time
Cons
All benefits to top management only Organisation Work for profit only No HR role as such Multitaskings No rôle clarity Politics

Pros
Able to work with CEOs / founders of industries. Good exposure Good political connections. Reimbursement on fuel / food
Cons
Bunch of blood sucking parasites who doesn't let employee work peacefully. Upper management always seek for more profit more sponsorship that will ruin your work life balance. No career growth, employees will end up doing the same work for years after years. In-house politics amongst upper management. No desk job. No fixed working hrs, may have to work even on weekends if required. No good salary appraisal.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Big old organization, gives you space to grow.
Cons
Nothing to comment at present, so far so good.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★

It's a sin to work here !
26 Dec 2022 - Anonymous-Former Employee in New DelhiRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
No pro, the brand is a hoax ! Stay miles away from joining this organization ! Only pro is leave policy, i.e., 30 days PL & 15 Days SL (annually)
Cons
No Vision; No functionality; No process in place; No employee engagement activities; No growth opportunities. This company doesn't respect skills, they don't care for betterment of organization, instead only care of personal motives; perks and nothing else. Moreover, they don't even believe in allocating tasks / projects as per employee's core strength & experience. You can flourish only if you know how to massage your bosses, like real massage, and should take care of your bosses' breakfast, tea, fruits, snacks and also sometimes act as a personal driver / servant. If you are really good at your work (like real job work), then you will be treated as a threat and would not be valued at all. You are not even allowed to reach out to higher hierarchy / management in case of any issues, because if your dare to do so, you will be under the radar and would be forced to put down papers.
