      Positive Outlook

I have been working at Cornell University full-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

Cornell has excellent benefits for postdocs, outstanding research, and an on-campus synchrotron. Also, the food in Ithaca is excellent, and Cayuga lake is great in the summer!

      Cons

Ithaca's a small town with no freeway access. It has a lot going on for its size, but it's not a city. Plus, one does have to be able to deal with winter.

      Advice to Management

Keep it up, really. Make sure standards for faculty treatment of personnel are maintained. And less turnover in the physical labor positions might be nice.
