Opportunities beyond your expertise. Leaders truly trying to transform operations and the business. Pay, and Benefits They have medical on-site and you can see them personally not just for work purposes. They have virtual or tele-health options. They have a work-out facility.

Cons

Need to be comfortable working in private equity. Private equity is different but can be exciting. You need to understand you are IT there is no large organization that will come in and save you. A person has to believe the companies performance depends on them. There is a lot to be done but we are working on more each day.

Being private equity is different than working for a large corporation. This can be difficult for some.

Pros

Cornerstone is a great place to start and end your career. The compensation and benefits are below average for a Process Operator in Louisiana but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Cons

Very low starting pay compared to other chemical manufacturing plants and refineries in the area. The plant is owned by an investment firm and not a large corporate company like most other chemical plants in the area. Operator Trainee's start as packaging technicians at $18/hour and have to wait 6-8 months before bidding into an Operator job in a production unit.

Pros

Great group of people and a relaxed yet safe work environment. Benefits are alright but does have room for improvement. Although, compared to today's economy they are good.

Cons

Pay is not horrible but is lower than most operator positions you will find at other companies. As far as the job I can't complain. I enjoy it emensly.
