I worked at Cornerstone Research full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Brand name consulting firm with great exit ops for law/b school and tech/data analytics jobs - Your next job/academic endeavor likely will not be as taxing

    Cons

    - Extremely volatile hours - Work experience varies heavily by case. If you are staffed on a long term case, deadlines are more spread out, allowing for the team to expose you to a multitude of aspects of your job - If you are staffed on a case with many short term deadlines, it is truly sink or swim. If you sink, the likelihood of interesting/analytical work in the future drops. They will staff you where they know you can perform, which at worst will be some kind of doc review. - Moreover, the firm will not invest in your development outside of how it is profitable to them. They do make allowances for time to study for the LSAT, but think about who their clients are.
