Corporation Bank is Non Corporation Bank for Customer... I am availing Corporation bank services since last 4 years for the home loan and saving account. As per customer is concern there is no helpdesk available for the customer related issue on neither internet nor telephone. Only customer care executive is available to inform you that “for all enquiries please visit your branch personally”. This is ridiculous for each and every problem I have to take leave from office and visit the branch to get the problem resolved. This is very good example of Typical Indian Bank of eighties. If you want to take interest certificate of home loan than you have to visit branch, for cheque book request you have to visit branch, for regenerating ATM pin you have to visit branch, for any inquiry you have to visit branch. Unfortunately I am availing home loan with this bank and don’t need to continue such relation for another 20 years and searching bank who is really think about the customer problem and intended to resolve the same. I am surprise how these type of banks are surviving in this competitive environment when other banks are performing well in terms of customer satisfaction.

Pros

Rich experience in the rural sector by way of mixing and solving their problems and also inducing saving .Vast exposure to semi urban people by solving their financial problems and inducing them for saving. Urban people show their greediness for loans and huge default in their financial burden. I like more in serving rural and semi urban areas where I found happiness in their faces

Cons

I don't like few management people who do not have branch difficulties and experience.The want their subordinates should be YES BOSS. Happiness is not pleasing the management but only by serving the people/public which is the motto of MADAM INDIRA GANDHI'S NATIONALISATION AND SOCIALISM. The financial schemes are not for the management but for implementation by staff.

Pros

Compare to other any Bank its small and good, its like a family work more hardly you will get good chance of promotions, new candidate will get more chance. Totally I like my job.

Only problem is about transfer, in officer cadre transfer is all india. if both are employee its very difficulty to manage.if clerical there is no any problem.
