    Pros

The people at Cumming are genuinely friendly and caring, everyone wants to enjoy their time at work together. You can express your wants if you feel you need to be challenged more. Cumming cares about their employees because they care about retention, which is the backbone concept of any successful organization. Lots of lunches and happy hours for team builders. Everyone helps everyone in any way they can for any... project.

    Cons

The HR team is not as efficient as they could be with executing benefits. Sometimes you have to do more of the legwork for yourself to make sure paperwork is processed.

    Advice to Management

maintain better lines of communication from top to bottom during major business changes.

    Pros

Great social place to work and the culture is awesome. When it comes to your employment, there is room to move and accept new challenges. The company are willing to enhance your abilities and professional experience without keeping you stationary in one position.

    Cons

Pay will be less then general contractor but less stress and more flexibility. Personally don't mind the off-set.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Cumming full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Senior level management not being available in person or technology makes your work schedule flexible - a good stepping stone to move to another company

    Cons

    - Low pay : far below market - Sr. Management is incredibly unavailable. It takes numerous pings to get a response to a simple PTO request - They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. You have to jump thru hoops to get an expense report approved, transportation costs covered, potluck lunches (for the amount of $ that is being brought in on our specific account, cater is a damn meal once in a while) - PTO policy... is laughable - Direction of the account is nonexistent - “Process Improvement” is ongoing and beaten into us but there’s no real tangible results - Sr. Management shows their face maybe 1-2 times per week - Employee input is impossible as there is no one around to voice your opinion to - team events are not paid for (my manager paid out of his own pocket for a team outing to the tune of $250) this goes a LONG way for morale - Onboarding was a nightmare. Had to fill out HR forms in two different places. - There is no sense of culture or value within our team or account

    Advice to Management

Stop being so cheap. You acquired us (large online retail account in Seattle), we make you a lot of money. Give us a morale budget. Cater us a lunch, give us a transportation stipend (direct deposit so we don’t have to deal with your incompetent accounting staff) - You have a lot of incredibly talented staff on this account and a majority of us are very unhappy and looking elsewhere.
