Pros

Cons
No proper training. Unorganised management at times.
"enjoyable experience"
Approves of CEOI worked at D C Leisure Management part-time for more than a year
Pros
good flexible workload. excellent pay for someone of a young age and a generally enjoyable experience meeting new people.
Cons
work can often be counter-productive and communication between management and lifeguards could have been improved. may have changed since I left. also, the actual lifeguarding could become very tedious, the pool was rarely busy and when it was busy it was often for swimming lessons.
"Good for basic salary. Not much opportunities for PT."

RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at D C Leisure Management part-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Better basic rate than most corporate gyms. Flexible working hours. Pay you even if you are not with a client.
Cons
Very reluctant to buy any new equipment for the gym. Company cares more about numbers on the floor than number of clients you have. Cut from PT isn't great either.

Doesn't RecommendI have been working at D C Leisure Management
Pros
Very nice people who are fun to work with and relaxed culture that leads unpressurised work. Good facilities and nice customers.
Cons
Very low pay compared to other lifeguarding jobs and boring work. Lifeguards are expected to clean everything - including toilets and showers.
