Pros

One of the best things about working at DHD Films is how much the leadership genuinely wants every team member to grow—not just in their role, but in their career. There's a positive outlook on performance management here; it's not about catching mistakes, it's about recognizing strengths and finding ways to elevate your work. We're encouraged to bring new ideas to the table—whether it's a new technique, strategy, piece of software, or something experimental. A great example of this is when leadership sent our team to an AI film festival in Austin, TX. It wasn’t just a fun trip—they saw it as a way to explore how AI can shape the future of storytelling and how we might integrate it into our work. That level of forward thinking is rare and appreciated. Collaboration is also a big win here. Everyone’s input matters, and creative ideas are heard and supported.

Pros

Overall, my experience working at DHD Films has been positive. One of the things that stood out to me was the level of support offered by both management and the owners. My direct oversight was especially helpful in protecting my schedule by assigning tasks to others who had more margin, allowing me to focus on my goals. I also appreciated the support for my sales goals, with new leads and long-formed relationships being passed over to me. Another benefit of working at DHD Films was the 50% match on education, which allowed me to further my education and skill set. I also appreciated the company's focus on prioritizing people over profit. The owner not only supported me at work but also my family, which was a big help. Overall, I would recommend DHD Films to anyone seeking a work-life balance in the creative industry.
