Best work culture

Pros

I worked remotely for 4 years. The best part of Binary.com is its work culture. People are very friendly and talented. Even after work, people go out together, drink, and eat. Flexible timing, good pay, work appreciation, and no politics. People can switch roles to learn new things. Although the company is more than 15 years old, it still has a start-up culture.

Cons

I didn't find any Cons in the company.

Pros

Working at the company comes with a strong sense of appreciation, where personal commitments are valued and hard work is genuinely recognized. The workplace culture strikes a healthy work-life balance, though it ultimately depends on how you manage your own workload and navigate project deadlines. Once a project's architecture is firmly settled, there is a clear and balanced emphasis on both the quality and quantity of execution, which is further supported by the company's commendable, forward-thinking AI initiatives. To top it off, day-to-day life at the office is highly enjoyable thanks to fantastic perks, including free lunch, an on-site barista, an array of snacks, and a continuous supply of soft drinks and fresh, on-the-house juices.

Cons

Not the right fit for individuals who prefer a slower environment, as the organization is highly fast-paced and demands agility.

Thank you for this thoughtful and detailed review, and for your continued dedication over the past three-plus years. It is genuinely encouraging to hear that the culture of recognition and appreciation resonates with you, and that the balance between quality and output feels well-supported in your day-to-day work. We are glad the AI initiatives are landing well with the team. These efforts reflect our broader commitment to equipping our people with the tools and mindset needed to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry, and feedback like yours affirms we are heading in the right direction. Your advice to management is well-received. As we continue to scale, clear prioritization, realistic deadlines, and robust onboarding for new joiners are areas we remain focused on. Sustaining the energy and pace that makes Deriv exciting, while protecting the work-life balance our teams value, is a balance we take seriously. We are thrilled the office perks, from the free lunches to the barista and fresh juices, are adding to the everyday experience. Here's to many more great years ahead!
