Pros

Great exposure to everything related to retail. They make you versatile as an employee. They dont restrict you when you want to learn anything relatex to retail as to store level- Visual merchandising, store operations, traing process, retail pro and SAP. You can learn everything.

Cons

Lot of sales pressure, tooooo much politics. They take very long to hire new employees after the old one's have left, result being more pressure on the rest of the people working in the organisation.

The feeling is to be in a place sort like 'google' or other similar reality: friendly people, casual dress, young mood, big restaurant inside, gym etc etc,

but stay a little long and you will discover a smaller aspec of the italian 'mafia' inside, starting from low salary, managers or team leaders with no knowledge, no carieer prospectives and so on

The pay is great, making $8/ hour + 3% commission really adds up -I average $30/ hour. Work is extremely minimal.

It's a retail position, so the work isn't the most challenging/ interesting.

Expectations on each of us were high, and daily competitions were challenging and rewarding. Seminars and continued learning kept us up to date and knowledgable.

There was a strained relationship between the Supervisor and the Sales Associates, making the general ambiance not always so pleasant or positive. The supervisor would get angry if one of the Sales Associates were sick.
