I have been working at Disneyland Resort part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Disneyland is my part time job. I have been working there for 5 years. I now have a full time job(Mon-Fri) at another company but I still don’t want to quit Disney yet because sometimes it doesn’t feel like you’re working because of the great interactions from guests or cast. Disney has great flexibility when it comes to your schedule so I work Saturdays and Sundays. So yes, I choose to work Monday through Sunday.

    Cons

Guests can be entitled. Also cast members can cause drama like a high school atmosphere.

I worked at Disneyland Resort full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Guests can't get in without a ticket or pass, and vacation planners help figure out the best package available for what guests need. Saving people money by finding them the best fit for their needs meant making magical moments by finding solutions. As a company Disney offers many benefits like sign-ins and cast activities like previews and sneak-peaks of products and events.

    Cons

Learning all the different packages and benefits for each ticket or pass available could be overwhelming for new cast members. We worked with contracts, and the different systems we used didn't always work seamlessly. Long lines and frustrated guests meant short tempers and little patience. Schedules are based on seniority.

I have been working at Disneyland Resort full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    * Many potential lines of work * Once you convert to full-time, you have access to a lot of benefit options * The abilities to sign in friends and receive discount coupons multiple times a year cannot be beat * If you like making joyous memories for others, you're gonna love this

    Cons

    * Some managers, even within the same lines of business (i.e. Attractions, Food and Beverage, etc...) are much worse than others, and there's not a thing you can do about it * You will be exposed to many toxic coworkers that will try and bring you down * While transferring lines of business is possible, unless you're trying to transfer to Attractions, you probably won't ever hear back * Promises are often made by managers but never kept * Hours fluctuate heavily, and your availability requests aren't always granted * You will be micromanaged no matter where you work within the company
