    Pros

    - Awesome place to work - Employees are very helpful - HR and Management dept is simply awesome and very helpful - Lovely Breakfast been provided with change in menu - Spacious work place and desk - Many Good Talents in individual departments

    Cons

    - Takes long time time to give position - Many Artist worked in some DW features for some time and didn't received there names in the credit as they didn't worked for 3 months or more on the show. Which is not Artist's fault as they are been shifted in other shows again for less than 3 months.

I worked at DreamWorks Pictures full-time

    Pros

Good place to be in when you're there. Lots of benefits/perks. Ability to open doors for networking and other opportunities since people outside love the company. The head honcho's office, while demanding, was most kind and respectful.

    Cons

Don't expect any help when you want to advance, don't expect anything in return for your time/energy (long hours) and helping others, even when you go above and beyond. Seemed as if everyone in the dept was in it for themselves and threatened if you developed a positive relationship with anyone else, maybe afraid you give away secrets. Lots of secrets and gossip (very Hollywood). Politics rule who/when/where gets invited...

    Advice to Management

Allow your employees to thrive. Encourage growth. Create opportunities and help them when they ask. Don't take from your employees, instead include them. Learn to deal with your issues in a healthy manner.

  10. "Not quite the company it used to be."

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at DreamWorks Pictures

    Pros

Most people you work with are good hard-workers; good benefits are provided; they provide a comfortable work environment with some nice perks.

    Cons

They try to recognize loyal employees, but recent changes in the past few years have made it difficult for them to keep them employed.

    Advice to Management

Look for ways to overcome the need to down-size.
