I worked at DuPont full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Excellent 401k employer match. Friendly, family feel at site I worked. Flexible and accommodating work schedule.

    Cons

Low pay compared to equivalent positions at other companies. Also large discrepancies in pay between employees at same experience with same title. Work life balance can be poor depending on department.

I worked at DuPont full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

+ calibre of colleagues is great + truly global reach + high ethics + reasonably good compensation and benefits + Good healthcare and investing in safety

    Cons

    - has become very short-term and implementing savings that may turn out costly in terms of employee engagament - though global, culture is very American - poor work-life balance - lack of empowerment - slow decision-making and complex processes - no longer fully lives up to its pronounced values

I worked at DuPont full-time for more than a year

    Pros

DuPont is a staple in Delaware. Well known and respected company. Offers decent salaries and great benefits.

    Cons

Please understand this may not represent all departments in this organization, but in my department, things are a complete mess. The structure is not designed for success. Too many leaders and not enough workers. Poor communication and no thought of developing employees- unless you are part of the clique that deems you worthy. Of the few different options I had on the table before coming here- this was my choice and I'm thoroughly disappointed. Pay is great, but you will have no peace of mind and you're expected to work 15-20 hours a day. Work life balance is joke and company values are not valued at all.

    I worked at DuPont full-time

    Pros

Most of the people are great to work with, and the culture from Genenor / Dansico that still is around is great.

    Cons

The work life balance could be improved. Employees work long and hard hours with expectations to come in on off days and nights.
