I worked at Dun & Bradstreet full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Join if you are looking for a stable 9-5 job with no promotion. Is a good place for those who cares nothing and just want to collect the pay.

    Cons

Never come if you are an ambitious individual who wants to be an 'Analyst'. I promise they would disappoint you on the first day of work.

    Advice to Management

    Hopeless. RIP.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Dun & Bradstreet full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Work from Home. I can't think a whole lot that was benefitted from this position besides it being a Gapstop.

    Cons

Lack of growth and management is terrible. Demostrated incompetence and apathy of leadership, from the program manager to the client services - account director on down to the training director.

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on short term goals and learn what your competitors are doing right. I think this company is a sinking ship

    Cons

The hours can be long Lots of analytics that may end up going nowhere Difficult to move up within the same group.

    Advice to Management

Please take some time to create a rotational program for Associate level employees.

I have been working at Dun & Bradstreet

    Pros

It put food on the table and it paid off some of the student loans, but that was about it. Oh, and free parking.

    Cons

Ridiculous achievement quotas imposed on junior staff, which led to all kinds of fudging in order to meet benchmarks. Silly.

    Advice to Management

Treat people like colleagues, not like convicts, and they may surprise you with how enthusiastic they become about their jobs.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Dun & Bradstreet

    Pros

Good compensation Business has few competitors which tends to lead to success by default

    Cons

Senior team doesn't espouse true leadership qualities Not a long-term career enhancing environment Dual set of standards for Senior Management and employee level - target goals should be consistent at all ranks

    Advice to Management

The company could be so much more successful if the senior team goals and company wide goals were unified. Also I am surprised by the small size of the business and the number of people that hold President titles.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Dun & Bradstreet

    Pros

Growth Opportunity, Winning Culture, Team enironment, Benefits are great (401K, Health, Dental, etc)

    Cons

Sometimes external Business partners may not fully understand what you and your team are doing for the company, as a result they can lead to poor decsions when it comes to down sizing

    Advice to Management

Learn what the teams are actually doing, and how impactful they are, rather than just saying it's duplicated effort.
