    I worked at ENGlobal full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, decent pay, variety of tasks

    Cons

Age discrimination, protect the few, cliques can do no wrong. Lie and deny. Company lies to clients and employees, says they care but then lays people off just to post their job or a similar job a week later. Despite expressing desire to grow and learn, only select few were given those opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the cliques and the protected ones. Offer more opps for those that want it. Don't make empty promises.

I worked at ENGlobal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid well. Seemed to care about their employees. Lots of free doughnuts and perks. Fitness center downstairs. Not much stress or pressure.

    Cons

Being a typical EPC firm, they hire up when they have work and lay off when the work ends. Nothing personal...just business.

    Advice to Management

Good people are hard to find...maybe figure out a way to keep them when things slow down. Little more supervision of projects might head off surprises, instead of just trusting people to do the work.

    Pros

Good company struggling with current extremely poor industry conditions. Pay and benefits are at or above industry norms. Unlike many consultants (especially larger ones), not just a job shop.

    Cons

Not really any significant issues that aren't directly attributable to current industry conditions. For instance, pay raises were postponed, growth opportunities somewhat limited at present, but more a result of lack of work than anything directly related to the company.

    I worked at ENGlobal full-time

    Pros

Great work environment, talented coworkers, advancement training.

    Cons

Occasional unrealistic project deadlines promised that required staff to work many hours of overtime and holidays.

    Advice to Management

You have everything in place, treat the work producers with the respect you give clients, fair but honest.

    Pros

Some strange reason they continue to get projects. They really are a disfunction group of non-degeed so called engineers.

    Cons

Mangement lives in a dream world. They need to clean house. Too much old dead wood have been hiding there for along time.

    Advice to Management

Be true to yourself and quit trying to doctor your books to look better then you are.
