MANAGEMENT & HR are the worse I have ever seen. I only saw my manager 1x a month. No guidance . Very stressful environment. DO NOT RECCOMMEND! Also have dealt with racism from management and coworkers.

Job Stability, learnt how to deal with toxic people and evolve

1. They ask us to use PTO for national holidays. 2. Pay does not align with the amount of responsibilities for certain roles. 3. Few management employees are part of hospital since last 25 years and they don't understand any technical concepts yet they provide unrealistic deadlines to the employees and they display biased approach towards employees (slightly racist approach)

Pros
There is a lot of talking about ECH growing and I am concerned that the soul of ECH could get lost with that. When I became a nurse in 2002 I turned down 4 other offer's (all with sign-on bonuses) to work at ECH without a sign-on bonus because the warmth of the people around me was palpable and I could feel how happy everyone was. I hope that continues although I feel it slipping away and the management (which is directed from higher up) is starting to feel more and more like Sutter Health. Patient's even seem to think we are owned by Sutter Health which isn't true, but I think that is a good barometer if the patient's are picking up on the same vibe I am.
