I have been working at A Thinking Ape full-time

Pros

- Get to work with cool people
- Casual and open work environment
- Free lunch and snacks
- Interesting products to work on

Cons

- Lack of sharing of resources / knowledge between teams which leads to repeating the same mistakes
- Lack of focus on non-development positions and projects
- Can be difficult to get anything done unless you do it yourself, many tasks remain backlogged for months/years

I worked at A Thinking Ape as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - (Specific to interns) Good mentorship, you sit right next to (or very close to) your manager/mentor and interact with them a lot, everyday.
    - Many social employees
    - Good HR Team
    - Stable company
    - Lots of User-Facing (engineering/product) work available
    - Flexible work hours, great work/life balance
    - Decent engineering infrastructure
    - Good office location, close to many great food options

    Cons

    - Not sure if I would play the games that I worked on.
    - Teams (and the company as a whole) can move a little slowly at times.

    Pros

At A Thinking Ape, you're given a lot of ownership and provided with strong mentorship. Also you have the opportunity to engage with founders and team leads relatively easily.
