Early careers program provides a lot of resources, support, and access to leadership
Entry-level staff are given meaningful responsibilities right out of the gate
"Yes" culture - people are always willing to network and connect, even in a virtual environment
Tight knit community - <500 staff members in the division
Ability to be promoted into many different departments
Some of the smartest people in the industry work here
Cons
Change is a constant - new organizational structures seem to launch each year
I have been working at Advisory Board full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Opportunities for those in and out of industry. A wonderful learning ground for those who came from traditional clinical roles transitioning or those whom never came from healthcare at all transitioning in. It's a face paced environment that provides ample opportunity to learn
Cons
Much change has happened at the company for the past 3 years since it's acquisition by United Health Group. It was honestly changing even before that. I'd say that the pay is below industry standard, and that navigating the company can be a bit difficult.
