Cons
- Slow career progression before management level. And even at management level slow salary progression (see below). - Cyclical salary increases - no salary increases outside of "periods of change" which happen twice a year. - Lower salaries versus industry, but higher than average in Madrid. - Have to remain in jobs minimum 2 years before being allowed to change, even if the job is incorrect for you and you would serve the business better in a different position. HR policies are strange. - Many people stay in company for long-time as it is comfortable so low staff turnover which can harness innovation & creates a slower-paced environment. - Slow and hierarchical - in many cases it can take a very long time to move big things forward thanks to levels of hierarchical approval. It does not have a start-up feel.
