Pros
*gained experience with pitching national clients
*helped me understand what work culture is supposed to be thanks to next job at another smaller ad agency
*compensation and benefits were just ok
Cons
*toxic work environment led by ineffective leadership not willing to evolve with industry trends and tactics or listen to feedback from employees
*principals did not train properly. They were hiring kids out of school or people with no experience in advertising but not teaching them client relations, pitching the business or giving constructive feedback
*forced Friday 'happy hours' where work stopped at 4PM and you had to stay and interact with coworkers while drinking beer or playing pool or whatever. You couldn't leave or even keep working even if you're on deadline. Good concept but work place was so toxic, no one really wanted to be there with principals even though coworkers genuinely liked each other and constantly hung out outside of work
