Pros

HR is a plus. The ladies at HR are extremely helpful and very nice.

Cons

They hire just people with H1B and treat them extremely poorly. Be prepared to be yelled at during company meetings in front of your whole team. Be prepared to be insulted. The engineering management and the engineers have are extremely unfriendly and there is no concept of culture here. Stay as far far away as you can.

Archibus Response

Archibus has fully supported a culture of respect and inclusion since its inception in 1991. The below comment concerning hiring just individuals in an H1B immigration status is incorrect. As an international organization we have sponsored H1B employees in the past and will do so in the future should the need arise. We have no active H1B sponsorships at this time. The HR team appreciates the positive comments and would immediately address any negative interaction if an issue was brought to our attention. Unfortunately, we have not been made aware of any of the instances mentioned in this post. We would encourage all employees to reach out to HR if abn instance of this nature arose so we could gather the facts and take the appropriate action.

Pros

The people are absolutely amazing to work with. Having the ability to work remote is even better. Many of us are miles apart, but the family oriented feel is still there. The benefits are great also!

Cons

If you are not accustomed to working remotely, then that may be a bit of a challenge for some.

Pros

In its recent mergers with SpaceIQ and Serraview, Archibus has gone from a slow-moving mainstay of the IWMS industry to a fast-moving company looking to dominate the segment -- with a new CEO, new management, and an expanded mission. Hard to underestimate the changes in the company or the speed at which these have occurred. Pros: Great products, extraordinarily rapid innovation, focus on results, multiple new products and projects, multiple new opportunities for professional and career growth, solid financing, professional management, rapid upgrade of IT and development infrastructure.

Cons

Extraordinarily rapid innovation, focus on results. For as much as people want innovation, fundamental change can be very challenging. For as much as people want career growth, growth opportunities are awarded to those that actively step up to larger responsibility and not to the longest-tenured. This kind of responsibility and accountability isn't for everyone.
