Pros

Great colleagues, was a amazing place to work years ago.Policys and procedures in place.

Cons

Ausgrid has now become a dog eat dog amongst staff, everyone fighting for their own jobs,at the expense of customers, asps and everyone's safety.Everyone trying to justify their own jobs and morale amongst staff has gone downhill over the past few years, your either stabbing people in the back or your out.The few good guys and girls that are left are slowly becoming bitter and twisted.

Pros

Rostered Day Off, Good Money, Annual Leave at half pay effectively doubling annual leave entitlements

Cons

This company is autocratic, militaristic and is just plain evil. It hates its employees. It is built on giving orders to construction workers. It is still living in the 1950s when they took in ex military as workers and needed to discipline staff with iron fists. People are not grown, encouraged to grow or developed in any way. There is no leadership only military style dictatorship. Disa bilities and mental health issues seen as disciplinary issues rather than supported. Bullied by management and senior management and by construction workers. Nails placed under car tyres. Made to wear an adult device around neck as hazing ritual. Unprofessionalism everywhere. Do not work here as it will affect your mental health.

Pros

Great hands-on experience, rewards and recognition, co-worker support.

Cons

Uncertainty with job security, top management retrench middle-managers on the basis of staff's Pulse surveys.
