    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Diversity of work, some good co-workers, exposure to compliance and regulatory issues, etc.

    Cons

Not very stable with regards to workforce. Had 8 different bosses in the 5 years I was there. Also, more concerned with the internal politics than doing the right thing. Lots of stress, long hours. Very toxic environment.

    Advice to Management

Start worrying more about your customers than playing your little games and jockeying for positions internally. Your infrastructure is aging, security is still abysmal, and Audit is not as independent as it should be.

    Pros

Bank of America has lots of opportunities for individuals, and if you can get the right manager, you will succeed.

    Cons

Too many approval to get things done Further, approvals may need to come from Executives who know nothing about a deal and neither does the manager who is presenting it to the Executive. Some managers are afraid to share information with Executives.

Brian doesn't know what's going on at the lower levels....managers are afraid to push concerns up to his level.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who know what they are doing and HOW to do it. And ones with BACKBONES!
