Incompetent leadership horrible HR
19 May 2023 - Relationship Banker in Coppell, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Bank Of America is a company that only need to get a salary in the meantime while you look for a better opportunity elsewhere. The salary is above most major banks but goodluck getting a bonus now that bonus structure for bankers are pretty much nonexistent. Opportunity for growth is there but after working multiple positions you'll be burned by the time you get a better opportunity.
Cons
Horrible HR, goodluck if you need to speak to HR for any issues in person. You'll be calling them only to speak to different people all the time and have ro repeat the issues over and over. The leadership in BOA is horrible, market managers are as useless as our call center. Be prepared to work multiple roles since teller , vault teller, assistant manager roles all have been removed. And bankers share those roles. Managers are a hit or miss. Some are great while others are horrible. Managers tend to move around many centers so be prepared to be given overrides for approving chech cashing, wire transfers over your limit. BEWARE your JOB is on the line of you overrode a wire or check cashing and Something happened that causes a loss. YOU CANNOT SAY NO TO OVERRIDES. BEWARE.
