I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

They are very willing to work around your life schedule. School, family, extra activities, I've never had a time where I wasn't able to accommodate everything. They pay well for a sales associate position, tuition reimbursement or full time, great discount.

Cons

Unstable company position in area of financials.

Advice to Management

Care for employees personal life.

    Pros

Fun place to work with a great culture. Easy to collaborate and work cross functionally.

    Cons

Lack of a clear vision or focus on where the company is going and the inability to quickly adapt to the market and competitors. The company used to be far more entrepreneurial but now has quite a bit of red tape which slows things down.

    Advice to Management

The company needs new innovative ideas to thrive again in addition to the major restructuring. This transition will only be successful if talented leaders are in place, there are far too many "so called leaders" that have been in chair too long that do not have the skills to help the companhy be successful in the future. Definitely need to cut the dead weight.
