Pros

Great doctors and technicians. Good schedule. Average at best benefits.

Cons

Too many to share. Inexperienced leadership, green ops and support staff. No true understanding of the industry. Lack of communication and a me attitude not a we attitude. Disappointing and a company that will think nothing of using someone for their expertise only to cut loose and pay inexperienced employees less. Save yourself the energy.

Pros

Working for BetterVet has been the best job I’ve had and I hope to stay with this company for a long time if not ever. This company truly cares for you with offering amazing benefits, pay, and a flexible schedule. The area managers have your back always and are there to support you with whatever you need each day. We see about 5 homes a day and it is much more relaxed seeing pets in the comfort of their own home. You really get to spend time and build relationships with the pets and the clients instead of rushing between multiple exam rooms if you would in a clinic. I enjoy not being in a brick and mortar seeing the same 4 walls every day. We stop at local gas stations or coffee shops to grab snacks and go to the bathroom. There are some days where you may work from home catching up on call backs, emails, records, stocking the car, etc which is a really nice break from time to time. There’s quite a bit of freedom with this job that a lot of people in this field can’t say they have.

Cons

It’s a newer company so there are still small bumps in the roads. Scheduling can get overbooked some days but the dispatch team gets on top of figuring that out. Sometimes there can be missed communication between the clients to the client success reps to the care teams.
