Pros
Store employees, managers and district managers are usually cool.
Cons
The pay for any store employee, sales consultant or manager, is horrible. The hourly rate for employees and base salary for managers are not in line with the effort and dedication required. The commission plans change frequently and are just disguised pay cuts. There is excessive micro-managing while you're told that you are empowered to run your store the way you want. The folks in charge at the higher levels continuously change procedure and implement some truly terrible ideas regarding inventory and cash management. Benefits are mediocre for someone that is single, but if you have a family, be prepared for the benefits to cost upwards of $1000/month. The good news is, you probably won't make enough money to be disqualified from government healthcare. They buy positive reviews on Indeed from new hires during orientation for $20 credit to the uniform store. They speak of advancement opportunities and growth potential, but continue to promote cheerleaders and yes men as opposed to people that understand the business.
