Pros

Gym on site (£40 p/month) and private doctors on site (expensive)

Cons

No pay rise for 4 years. Poor benefits, only 23 days hol and only 7.5% pension. Working from home and flexible working is not a Citi standard it is totally dependent on your line manger. Poor VOE results year-on-year but nothing done to improve them. Cost cutting everywhere at staff's expense. Everything that can be is offshored

Pros

Great benefits. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They do more than just pay lip service to work life balance

Cons

Like any job, the manager is the one that can make or break the position

Pros

Great collaboration between work groups. There used to be room for advancement and diversity in the workplace.

Cons

Lack of job security for several years culminating in a layoff after nearly 3 decades with the firm. Like many places, benefits, raises, and advancement opportunities diminished over time as the firm decided to offshore roles.
