Unbelievably shocking work culture with no learning and development in FP&A
FP&A AnalystFormer EmployeeMumbaiPros
1. Salary (at par with other FinOps role providers in the industry) 2. Club Mahindra holiday package of 3N/4D every year 3. Swanky offices
Cons
1. Manager won't care about your learning and development. You just have to get your job done 2. Everyone is overworked due to strict hiring policies and complete manual work with little to no technological intervention. Most of the time is spent on manual work on excel whereas analysis is done by senior people only 3. No fringe benefits at all 4. No work life balance 5. No regards for accountability. Every communication is either done on skype or whatsapp or personal call. Communicating on email is considered waste of time 6. Strict notice period policy with no negotiation considered for reducing it 7. There are checks and balances (on paper) regarding some cons mentioned but no one cares about them due to point 5.

Pros
Good culture, great people to work with, work was very interesting and I felt that I made a good impact on my project
Cons
I suffered from having a bad manager for my 10-weeks there. Of course, I also take responsibility for my lack of effort on my end, however, I felt in the beginning there was no connection between me and TK. I honestly tried my hardest to make efforts to get on her good side but for some reason she just hated me. I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but she was an ineffective manager, liar (because she called me a liar) and not a great person overall (putting me down, calling out my confidence and belittling me). Also, the program managers for this internship were just as ineffective in their job. Just as the program started ending, they began to reach out to discuss midterm feedback when in reality they were trying to tell you that you weren't getting an offer. I can GUARANTEE you if you did not ever hear from them, you most likely got an offer. My other colleagues were reached out by them and guess what... they didn't get an offer. No support, basically shunned away and told to keep quiet and do your work. They're trying to sell you that they are about company culture when in reality you can expect no support
