You can consider this job as a first step into a career in this industry, nothing more

Cons

Their culture belong to the 19th century, the office in Amsterdam is hugely sexist and dirty minded, if you're a female you will definitely have some problems there. The CEO is forcing people to vaccinate or leave the job, you can't work from home unless there's a lockdown while all other companies are allowing hybrid work. The market is getting smaller and the product they sell if very old fashioned and expensive and they still insist they are the best in the market when they can't accommodate any requests for their customers because they have such a basic product and don't add any updates or new technologies to their product offerings.

It’s better than prison, barley.

Cons

Call Center environment in the worst part of town. The VP adds zero value and nepotism is huge, especially with his son who was flipping burgers previously. Your first month you need 4 opportunities or you’re fired, that metric stays until your sentence is up at Cogent. Churn rate is very high. No consistency and training. The director only cares up useless KPIs / this isn’t 2010 anymore. He also had the small call when he repeats verbatim the daily email he sends out, how is he a VP?
