Pros

Helping the patients is the only thing I enjoyed about that place.

Cons

Being unappreciated no matter how long you work there. I had to carry the weight of incompetent leaders, was forced to work long hours with barely a break due to lack of staffing, had to deal with two faced gossiping leaders who stir the pot, management lie and promise things they do not follow through with, leaders sacrifice the well being of their employees under the guise of "doing what's best for the patients" and being paid crap to deal with all of that. I would never, EVER recommend ANYONE to work for the Coxhealth Admissions department. I had to start taking depression medication after working there, and their health insurance they offer is the worst in town. Shame on Cox for their poor management and lack of concern for their terrible work environment in the Admissions department.

Pros

A community-driven organization, strong culture, genuine leaders with integrity, organizational loyalty. The work matters, and the teams are here to build with eachother.

Cons

A few specific and targeted departments have not invested as much in their culture as the broader organization, and those areas can have challenges with morale and culture. The pay at a non-profit will never match what some for-profits can offer, but the trade off in culture is well worth it.

Pros

Great team to work with Opportunities to learn more with a Siemens rep who visits throughout the year

Cons

Scan protocols regularly change, so it can be hard to know what the doctors want and don't want included in the exams Difficulty in discerning which doctor to contact regarding critical finds as it can change daily Difficulty discerning which doctor to contact regarding XR/CT screening clearance as preferences are changed regularly Several doctors are gruff when we reach out to them to discuss a critical find
