Pros
People WERE(in caps) very good both technically and personally. Scope to learn lots of new technologies. HAD full freedom to try new things. HAD great mentor to look after the engineering team.
Cons
All the above Pros are past. Every thing turned upside down with arrival of new engineering head. Classical example of how one bad egg spoils entire lot. Lots of politics started and badmouthing of engineers infront of other engineers by that bad egg. No respect for engineers, treats them as some third class citizens. Everytime engineering head sends some motivational mail, ironically it demotivates them more. Takes all credit and blames others for all mistakes. It will take one complete book to writeout the frustration of engineers, but I think you get the point.
