Pros

- WFH Wednesdays - Unlimited PTO - Paid lunches

Cons

This company is a classic case of the CEO runs the entire show and everyone has to adapt to his will. He doesn't believe in Product and so he *is* the product. This means micro-management is rampant and nobody can solve it. Seriously, I didn't think that was the case when I read these Glassdoor reviews but after experiencing it first hand it's just that way. The engineering teams are completely against the way the CEO dictates how they should run but they cannot do anything but just tolerate it. The vibe amongst non-engineering folks seems to be one based on fear and uncertainty with a hope that things work out. I caution any new engineer that joins. You'll likely get roped into a lot of the politics surrounding this company and they won't tell you that during the interview. Please be careful and know what you're signing up for. This company has a lot of serious serious issues and with no idea how to fix them. Don't get wrapped up in these problems if you don't want to. If you're brave enough just know the challenges you'll face going in.

Pros

An experienced, focused intensity here. Good mix of personalities but one thing I get is that there is a good level of humility here... no one is bigger than the team and the mission as a whole and overall people are willing to help. Overall the company has a strong focus on core product offerings and being the best at when they do

Cons

Small company, and a startup, which means that priorities can sometimes change quickly and people have to be able to negotiate that. Small personnel changes can have large effects on momentum in some areas. Not a huge issue, but it is there.
