Pros
The only pros relating to Eaton are the good people who work there, with the exception being Eaton's unethical Engineering Management, do-nothing HR people and Eaton's fake Global Ethics.
Cons
Many of Eaton's Engineering Management leaders are undeniably unethical. They will throw employees under the bus in a heartbeat in order to please their upper management masters. Eaton's Engineering Management really sank to new lows around 2015 when they began to falsely assess employees on their annual reviews in an apparent effort to drive them out so they would no longer have to contribute to their pension plans. Eaton discontinued the pension plan in 2013 for all newly hired employees but still had to continue contributing to the pensions of long-time employees, many with 25+ years of service to the company. Of course a small group of not-so-ethical people in Eaton's upper management decided to target these long-time employees by falsely devaluing their work performance and lower their overall rating in order to sink it to a level (P2) that ensures that the employee will receive no raise at all for that year. Eventually, most of these employees would become demoralized and leave the company after one or two years of receiving no raise. And here's a company that claims to be #43 on the list of "the world's MOST ethical companies". LOL!! And when you take your complaint to Eaton's so-called "Global Ethics", the complaint basically goes into a black hole, never to be seen again. If you are somehow successful in getting Eaton's Global Ethics to appear interested in your grievance, they will only drag it out for a few months to give the appearance that they are taking action. In the end, it's the same old story that there wasn't sufficient evidence to back up your claim. How convenient and how pathetic!
