Management of the company was forever changing. New president in, old president out. New ideas in, old ideas out. They brought in upper management that didn’t know how to run the fleet management business. Ideas that were developed and implemented years before, which failed and then trying the same approach again, hoping that they work this time. Never hearing those that had been through the experience and learned from it. Now not caring about work life balance and employee satisfaction. Don’t value their employees or their suggestions. Those with many years with the company, were looked at as replaceable. Age and salary very much a factor. Managers of each department had their own set of guidelines for each team member which created animosity amongst employees and team members. Lack of communication between upper management, department managers and team members. Everyone felt like their head was on chopping block. They are all about diversity and inclusion but would promote based on sex and race and overlooked your qualifications.
