You will learn a lot. As a small business, Elucid asks its employees to support a number of contracts in a variety of disciplines. You also gain insight into the proposal writing and acquisition process, a huge benefit for anyone interested in making a career in the federal contracting arena. Management is flexible and does its best to reward employees when the company thrives.

Elucid is a small, but growing, business. If you're not interested in working across different projects and occasionally being asked to operate outside of your comfort zone, you won't be a good fit.

Good culture that puts trust in employee's to get the job done how they see fit. I've found management allows employees to work creatively, playing to employees strengths and avoids boxing people into one type of work, if their strengths lie elsewhere. They've also been very accommodating to creature comforts (got me a standing desk when I requested one, always willing to do things like that).

You're required to wear many hats. Less so as the company grows but still I've had to roll up my sleeves on some things that aren't my area of expertise. The office itself is close enough to the metro but is far from lunch options in general, no shower in the building. There's no parking really onsite.
