Cliquey but the perks sure are nice - Yoga Teacher Equinox Employee Review

Pros

Multiple locations for teaching classes, beautiful and seem less facilities, use of the facilities, freedom to teach yoga however you want to teach, grateful students.

Cons

The upper management is cliquey. The whole dynamic at Equinox felt like a high school hierarchy where you needed to be loved and accepted by the managers in order to really do well there. The problem is, they very often switch the managers at locations. So you may build up a relationship with one manager and then suddenly they switch it with someone else. It's pretty frustrating actually, since your career depends on getting classes and getting classes depends on your manager knowing and liking you.

Pros

Short hours. Free gym membershio and you can take the classes as well.

Cons

Sometimes too slow or at times way too many kids to handle by yourself.

Pros

Good income potential if selling out of a high-traffic location. Nice swag every so often. Free membership.

Cons

Huge (almost shocking) turnover rate for sales advisors. You will only succeed by having no work life balance. B2C sales means you don't have normal work hours, and the last 3 days of every month you must stay for 12+ hours to finish quotas.
