Pros
Good work/life balance. Lenient with leaves.
Cons
Although there are some positives, this is overall a terrible company. Initially, the company culture was good. However, over time we were discouraged from even having conversations with each other. Anything that brought us any joy was ruled out, even though we always delivered the work. The work itself was soul sucking. We were required to write 5000 words (highly researched) every day. Obviously, this wasn't possible so we were told to use ChatGPT for everything. This was a terrible business model that prioritized volume over quality. Naturally, there were negative results that the team was blamed for even though we were against this type of work. There was a lot of office politics, and people were often very rude. Issues were made out of every little thing (including how many lights to have on) We had absolutely no perks. No trips, insurance, healthcare. Hardly ever even had a company dinner. We were also fined. I understand the need for decorum but we were fined for being even a minute late. Timings used to be flexible but that perk had been taken away too. Also a very unhygienic place. Smells terrible, unclean, filthy bathrooms. Often have to go outside to get fresh air. They blame employees for their own poor business acumen and don't give appraisals. Anything positive they do for you (eg: allowing holidays when they're sick) they will later use to withhold promotions. Management will randomly choose someone to pick on and bully them until they leave. The only major positive used to be the amazing people that they mostly fired or drove out with terrible culture.
